Extract pages from a PDF

Save only the pages you need into a new PDF.

Open in the app The app opens with this tool already selected. Your PDF is not uploaded anywhere.

How it works

Choose a PDF and type the pages you want, with numbers and ranges separated by commas: 1-3, 5, 7-. An open range such as 7- goes up to the last page. A single new PDF is created with those pages; the original is not modified.

The pages come out in the order you type them: “7, 1-3” gives page 7 and then 1, 2 and 3. If you repeat a page, it appears repeated. If you want to split the PDF into several files, use “Split PDF”; and to move, rotate or delete pages while seeing the thumbnails, “Organize pages”.

What is not preserved, and limits

  • The content of the chosen pages, the bookmarks that point to them, links between them, forms, metadata and page labels are kept. Bookmarks and links to pages that are not extracted are removed.
  • A digital signature stops validating, because the PDF is written again with only those pages. Document-level JavaScript and embedded thumbnails are not kept.
  • Password-protected PDFs can be extracted: the site asks for the password and it is only used in your browser, never saved or sent. The result is saved without a password. PDFs protected with a digital certificate instead of a password cannot be opened.
  • Very large files (over roughly 100-150 MB in total, or with thousands of pages) may fail, especially on phones, because everything happens in your device's memory.

Why it is different

This tool works inside your browser. The file you choose stays on your device and is not sent to any server. That is why you do not need an account or an email to use it.
