Merge PDF
Combine multiple PDFs into one, in the order you want.
Open in the app The app opens with this tool already selected. Your PDF is not uploaded anywhere.
How it works
Choose your files, order them, and download a single PDF with all pages in sequence. Useful for contracts received in parts, separate receipts, or chapters of the same document.
Everything happens in your browser’s memory. The practical limit depends on your device: the more pages and the heavier they are, the more memory is needed.
When merging, pages are kept as they are, together with bookmarks or table of contents, title and author, metadata, page labels, embedded files and form fields. Password-protected PDFs can be merged: the site asks for each one's password and the result is saved without a password.
What is not preserved, and limits
- Pages are preserved as they appear: text, images, fonts, sizes, rotations, and links.
- Not preserved: accessibility tags (tagged PDF), layers and document JavaScript. If a file is damaged and has to be rebuilt with the fallback engine, bookmarks, document information and form fields are not preserved either.
- Any operation invalidates a digital signature: in our tests with 17 signed PDFs, none remained valid after processing. Merging several signed PDFs may cause the result to show an invalid signature for each one.
- Password-protected PDFs can be merged: the site asks for the password and it is only used in your browser, never saved or sent. The result is saved without a password. PDFs protected with a digital certificate instead of a password cannot be opened.
- Very large files (over roughly 100-150 MB total, or with thousands of pages) may fail, especially on mobile devices, because everything runs in your device's memory.
Why it is different
This tool works inside your browser. The file you choose stays on your device and is not sent to any server. That is why you do not need an account or an email to use it.
